Gene, my most sincere sympathies on the passing of your dad. I have fond memories of your dad coming to basketball practice, watching us shoot arrows, and of course our hunting trips. Your dad was special. I wish you well during this time as I know how tight you and your dad were. I apologize from my inability to attend in person. I will be thinking about you and never forget the times that you and I shared with your dad.

Gene was an outstanding gentleman at all times. He would greet many of us at the golf course with a pleasant greeting and a big smile. He will be missed.

We will miss his beautiful smile and his caring for everyone when we were together at the OSU Golf Course. His sense of humor was wonderful. We always said that when we grow up we want to be 'him'.
