Leo Guglielmi, age 90, passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016, at Heartland of Dublin. Leo graduated from Central High School and later served in the U. S. Army during World War II, obtaining the rank of Staff Sgt., and awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was the owner of Guglielmi Painting Company, a longtime member of the American Italian Golf Association and St. Peter Catholic Church. He is survived by his dear wife, Lorraine (Canegalli) Guglielmi; sons, Larry (Celeste) and Rick (Karen); grandsons, Dominic and Alexander; his special nieces, Judy Rowland and Shirley Strawser and many other dear nieces and nephews; and many dear and devoted friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Raffaele and Panfilia (Pronio) Guglielmi; brothers, Eugene, Aldino, Nello and Angelo; sisters, Dora Loretta and Tina Ward; in-laws, Emil and Corda Canegalli. His family will receive friends on Monday, January 18, 2016 from 4-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne. Rev. Fr. Nic Ventura, Presider.
