May God reward Pat for his good work on earth with the gift of eternal life. Pat was classmate of mine at St. Charles Prep. I'll always remember his gentle, soft-spoken manner and his genuine friendship throughout our school years. It was great being with him at our class reunions wherein he offered the Mass for the occasion. He'll be missed.

I was in the same unit and division in Viet Nam, although I did not know your brother. May he rest in peace along side his comrades of the 9th division who their all for their country. We were lucky and blessed to have survived that experience. You are in my prayers.

Peggy:

I am saddened and feel like a part of me has died as well. Pat and I were fraternity brothers (Beta Tau Sigma - brotherhood through song) at JCU and he will be sorely missed. The world lost a real seanachie and heaven has gained a beautiful first tenor. Don't worry Pat, we will sing together again in the future ...

We shall so miss Father Pat. He was the most sincerely good, honest, spiritual and loving person I have ever met, a real blessing and inspiration to all of us. It is an honor to have known him, to have been his friends.
