Tom was a great man to work for. He was always professional and pleasant and remembered everyone's names. I remember how he would come around to say hello, and see how everyone was doing. He will be missed.

I had the privilege to work for Tom briefly over twenty years ago. I simply walked into the office on W Rich one day asked him for a job in sales and he basically hired me on the spot. That was a testament to his belief in people and a willingness to give a young man a chance. I always enjoyed my conversations with him and usually walked away with some nugget of wisdom he willing shared. I'm sure I draw from some of those insights to this day. Whenever I hear or see a demolition hammer or air compressor, I think of Tom and probably always will...Nice fella!

I wanted to send my sympathy to all of the Thomas Lorenz family members. I had the privilege of enjoying Tom's friendship at the McConnell Health Center swimming pool in recent years, but many decades ago, I grew up around the block from Tom's children. We would all play kickball together in the back yard and we went to Our Lady of Victory School and church together. Mr. Lorenz was always friendly to me and my siblings.
