Obituary

Thomas K. Mixter, age 54, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015 as the result of a boating accident. Tom was a Certified Public Accountant and the Chief Financial Officer of Easter Seals Central and Southeast Ohio. He attended The Ohio
State University (B.S. 1985; M.B.A. 1998). Tom loved music and time spent outdoors. With a tender heart, he maintained long-time friendships and cared for all creatures great and small. A committed member of St. Luke’s, Tom served as an
usher, counter, and participant in classes. Tom is survived by his wife, Sherri (Mays) Mixter; his daughter, Amanda Mixter; his mother, Beatrice Mixter; his sister, Connie Caruso (Stephen); and his brothers, Chris Mixter (Linna Barnes) and Steve Mixter (Lisa). Tom was preceded in death by his father, Keith Mixter. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held at St. Luke’s on 5th United Methodist Church, 1150 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43212, with Pastor Laurie Clark presiding for the service.
