Obituary

Patricia Elizabeth (Donovan) Kletzly, age 75, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2015, at Mill Run Gardens & Care Center. She was born in Columbus on June 30, 1940 to Leo and Lucy (Bueter) Donovan who preceded her in death; also preceding her in death was her loving husband, Leo Joseph Kletzly; infant daughter, Katherine; brother, the Reverend Monsignor Michael L. Donovan; sisters, Sarah "Sally" Pschesang and Mary Lou Donovan. She is survived by her loving sons and their wives, Michael Leo (Elizabeth) and Matthew Joseph (Jaime) Kletzly; her wonderful grandchildren, Coleen, Molly, Jackson and Kathryn Kletzly; and brothers, Daniel (Donna) Donovan and John (Michele) Donovan. She graduated from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Grade School and St. Mary of the Springs Academy, later receiving her bachelor's of arts degree in Education and English from the College of St. Mary of the Springs, where she was elected to the Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. She was also a 25 year member of the St. Charles Advisory Board. The family wishes to thank the staff of Mill Run for their care given to Patricia. Her family will receive friends on Monday, July 20, 2015, from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road (Marble Cliff), with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name are preferred to the Leo J. Kletzly Scholarship Fund, c/o St. Charles Preparatory School, 2010 E. Broad St., Columbus (43209). I am a volunteer who serves ice cream to Mill Run residents each Wednesday. Pat enjoyed the ice cream I brought--in a cone, please! She was always cheerful, pleasant, and so very grateful for the ice cream and my visit. May the memories she left with you comfort you today and in the days ahead.
