Obituary
Mary Louise (Jeany) Lyons, 91, slipped away from this earth on April 26, 2015, with her family by her side. She was born in Grandview Heights, Ohio, on March 4, 1924, the daughter of a large Italian family. She met the love of her life, Jack, and moved to Hilliard, Ohio where they raised a family until his sudden death at the age of 46. She moved to Florida for five years before settling in Kansas where she continued to dedicate her time to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed a full life filled with family and friends. She had
a great love for music and playing cards. Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lyons; parents Angelo and Jessie
Jeany; and brothers, Oscar and Jackie Jeany. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Lyons, Kansas City, MO; son Tom (Debbie) Lyons, Stanley, KS; son Ed Kari) Lyons, Olathe, KS; and daughter Jeannie (Bobby) Moore, Butler, MO; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia Peyton, Columbus, OH. Her family will receive friends on Friday, May 1, 2015, from 5-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 1559 Roxbury Road (Marble Cliff) with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lockbourne. She will be dearly missed by all those who were lucky enough to know her. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Ascend Hospice, 783 NE Anderson Lane, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064, who graciously cared for her. A celebration of her life will be held at a later time in Overland Park, Kansas. Condolences may be sent via www.johnquint.com. PROCESSION TO FORM AT CHURCH.

My condolences to the Lyons family. Psalms 146:5 read: Happy is the one who has the God of Jacob as his helper. Whose hope is in his God. This may sound strange being in pain now but if your hope is in God to bring back to life your loved one, you will be happy. Please find some strength and comfort from this fact in your time of need.
