Dear Liz, Susie and Peggy,

Deedee forwarded the news of your Mom's death, and I want to offer my condolences. I had a chance to visit with Bonnie and Jeanine at our Mom's funeral, and enjoyed catching up with them. Amazing that the two of them made their way up to Delaware on their own - hope I'm that independent when I'm that age!

I have fun memories of childhood visits to your house, especially the first time I was exposed to shrimp cocktail and ate like a pig. Bonnie was so gracious about refilling the bowl more than once. And I still love shrimp cocktail. I also remember Christmases and Easters with all of you at the farm, and summer vacations at the farm and Sara's - exploring, swimming, buying comic books and candy necklaces. Even though we grew apart over time, I treasure these memories.

My thought are with you. So strange to realize we're now the older generation, isn't it? I know Bonnie worked on family ancestory for a long time and at one point I saw some of her results. Deedee is probably the keeper of that information in our family and I will ask her about it some time.

Love, Marty Ames (husband Steve Hach, daughter Cori, son David)

I was so sad to read in the Dispatch yesterday that Aunt Bonny had passed on Saturday. Like Marty, I had a very special visit with Aunt Bonny and Aunt Jeanine when Mom died a few years back, and I really appreciated the sweet letter she sent more recently after Dad died. She was such a gentle, thoughtful woman. I am so sorry for your loss.

We count Bonny & Sal as being very influential in our lives when Earl was associated with Westgate Electric in the 1960 era. Sending our condolences.
