Nicholas A. Panzone, died on Monday, November 21, 2016, at age 94, at Arlington Court Nursing Home. He is survived by his son, Nicholas A. Panzone, Jr. and his wife Linda Panzone; his daughter, Dr. Mary Jo Panzone Welker and her husband, Mr. Lloyd M. Welker, Jr. , and his former daughter-in- law, Mary Francis O'Kane. He is also survived by his grandson, Nicholas Panzone, IV, and his wife, Emily Panzone; and great-grandsons, Carson Panzone and Mason Panzone. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Violet M. Panzone; and his two brothers and seven sisters. Nicholas was born in Columbus, Ohio and served in the Army in Europe in World War II. Following his return from the service, he was employed at Jeffrey Mining and Manufacturing for 40 years. He and his wife enjoyed an active retirement with traveling and family activities. Nicholas was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church and was a man of deep faith and commitment to family. As a husband, father, and friend, he served as a wonderful role model to others. His family will receive friends on Friday, November 25, 2016, from 2-6 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Family and friends are asked to gather at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 20 E. Dominion Blvd. (at North High), at 9:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 26, 2016, for his funeral Mass. Rev. Msgr.
