Dear Aunt Bev,
I was so sorry to hear about Uncle Joe. I learned things from Uncle Joe as a little girl that have made a big impact on my life. Uncle Joe's willingness to share how to memorize is something, I took to heart. I used it to help me through out my schooling. It is a skill I teach my students. He also showed me how each generation has different values and ideas. Knowing this at the University level helped me to understand and succeed in my studies in Undergraduate and Graduate school. To me the understanding of generational differences is so important, that I also make sure all my students know this. My goal is to help teach students to have healthier, happier families and I am proud to say Uncle Joe helps me make that happen. I am so thankful that I got to be a part of his life! He is an amazing man and I am proud to say that I share his gifts in order to enrich others lives.
Love to you all,
Susan

I have such fond memories of Joe when I knew him as the CEO of the Akron Area Board of Realtors. He was an inspiration to me and a continual source of encouragement as I moved through the offices: treasurer, VPres and then President of the Board. He was a true leader and a great listener. I am sure there is a great void now for all his family and friends there in Columbus. I want to offer my sincere condolences to you and the rest of the family.

Joe is a friend who will be greatly missed by lots of friends he made wherever he went. Loved his memory speeches, especially the one he forgot to show up at. He had a special easy way to get things finished and was always helpful and knowledgeable and willing to share his talents.
