Obituary
Giuseppe Conti, age 81, passed away on Friday June 5, 2009, at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Retired as a carpenter from the Athletic Department at Ohio State University. He is preceded in death by parents Giovanni and Carmella Conti; brother, Eranio Conti. Survived by loving wife, Edilia Anna Conti; son, Antonio (Linda) Conti; daughter, Carmelina Conti; grandchildren, Ellen, Anna and Gina, all of Columbus. Also surviving are his brothers, Stefano (Rosa) Conti and Mario (Filomena) Conti; sisters, Rina (Adamo) Falasca and Tonina (Dario) Falasca, all of Italy; many nieces and nephews. Special friend, Pete (Cyndi) Carey. Friends may call TUESDAY June 9, 2009 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 4:00-8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., on WEDNESDAY June 10, 2009 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 1559 Roxbury Road, Columbus, Ohio. Rev. Msgr. Romano Ciotola, Presider. Entombment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio. I was so sad to hear of your loss. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. I can still remember coming over to hang out with Carm and feeling right at home with the entire Conti family. I remember your dad was funny and always teased at me. I still remember your mom making homemade sausages....and letting us sample them of course.

Your dad's life video was beautiful. Every time we visited over the years, it was so awesome to see the joy in his face when he stopped by to see Ellen, Anna and Gina. He was so proud of them. There was no mistaking that his family brought him great joy. Your mom always has a smile and kind words to share. You were blessed with two great parents. Your dad will be missed by all who knew him. Sending thoughts and prayers your way...Kelly, Greg, Keri, Kati, Kailyn, Kyle and Kole.
