Obituary
Robert L. Hutchinson, age 74, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015, at Heartland of Dublin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Christina (Clark) Hutchinson; and his aunt, Margaret Hutchinson. He is survived by his wife, Patti; children, Jodie (Tim) Clipner, Jeffrey (Lisa) Hutchinson and Sydney Hutchinson; grandchildren, Sami Clipner, Hutch Clipner and Maya Hutchinson; sister, Saundra (Dr. Edward) Jones; nephew, Daniel Dunlop. Robert proudly served as medic corpsman in the U. S. Navy; was the owner and operator of the first all service salon in Columbus, known as Inner Visions; he was the winner of more than 20 state and national awards in hairstying and cutting, including Hairstylist of the Year in New York (1969) and Who's Who in Coiffure (1975 and 1976); Robert had articles published in many national beauty magazines and participated in television and radio programs dealing in hair design. He also served as a consultant to various professional groups in the hairstyling industry; in addition, he was named one of the Top 50 People in Ohio by the Ohio Magazine. He was also the Educational Director for one of the top salon chains in Ohio, Indiana and Michigan. Robert's family is forever grateful to the caring staff at Heartland of Dublin. His family will receive friends on Saturday, August 1, 2015, from 2 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus; concluding with a service honoring his life at 4:00 p.m. Following the service, the family invites friends to gather with them to celebrate Robert's life. I am so sorry to hear bout Bob's death and want you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I remember so many good times we all had together while living on Arthur Court. Scott and Stephanie also send their deepest sympathy. While these are dark days. the tears you shed today and in the coming days will eventually turn to smiles as you remember the good times.
Bob was the driving force behind my association with Inner-Visions and once (in the middle of a horrendous winter snow storm) we traveled to Boston to meet John Delaria and observe his salon. I even brought back a live lobster which had to live in our bath tub overnight until we could cook it! We had great times, good parties, sleep-overs for the kids --Bob's humor, his zest for living and his outstanding talent will never be forgotten. I am sorry I won't be able to attend the celebration of Bob's life--but I will celebrate his life in private. I know this is a tremendous loss for all of you but also for friends and former customers and everyone who knew him. May he rest in peace knowing that all of you will be strong.

Jodie -I was so saddened to hear of your Dad's passing! No one ever did my hair as great as he sis for 27 years. I've missed him & often think of him. Prayers to you & all your family...he was a good & funny man!!
