I am so sorry for your loss. Charlie was not only a key member of St. John Baptist Italian church, but in every organization he belonged. He was a man who dearly loved his family and a special welcoming individual who made an impact on all he came in contact with. When I began attending SJB upon my relocation 2007, Charlie was the first parishioner to welcome me to the church. We developed a friendship that has resulted in me sitting in the same pew with him for over 8 years now. I will miss shaking his hand every Sunday at the sharing of peace. It was also Charlie who sponsored me to become a member of the GAC and he who asked me to serve as a club officer with him this year. I am certain many individuals and organizations today mourn the passing of Charlie, but in my heart I know he is already busy in heaven organizing the countless number of souls there, with a special focus on doing things for the common good. That was Charlie, always thinking about how to help others. Columbus and our parish family has lost a wonderful individual who will long be remembered for what he stood for and all he accomplished. I pray that our loving and gracious Lord help you through this most difficult time. Gary

I hope Charlie knew how many peoples lives he touched and what he meant to each and everyone of them. We all are grieving his sudden passing. My heart goes out to you who has lost truly one of the most respected people I have ever met. He was kind, loving, generous, caring and so passionate about whatever he was involved in. He made such an impression on all who knew him. He will forever be sorely missed and never forgotten.

Pardon me for posting a second comment to this page, but I wanted to say what a heartfelt tribute it was to see so many people waiting to pay their resects to Charlie last night. It was truly a wonderful testimony on the impact he had on the lives of others over his years. I believe everyone who passes is mourned by someone, but very few are mourned by so many. Charlie stood tall among everyone who knew him, and he will be missed. But more importantly, he will never be forgotten. I pray that thought may provide you and your entire family some measure of comfort. Gary

Herm and I just learned about your loss. We wanted to let you know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We had a great chat about him yesterday, recalling many fun memories of "Mr & Mrs Agriesti" hanging out with our parents. We will fondly remember most his happy personality and a smile that shined like a beacon. Just a great guy. My dad will be awfully glad to see him again.

With deepest sympathy
