Thomas J. Alfano, age 79, passed away on Sunday March 15, 2015 at Kobacker House. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Yvonne; parents, Alfanso and Serafina; sisters, Rose and RoRo; brothers, Sammy and Freddy. Survived by his dear wife, Ruth; children, Jeannine (Mike) Leyshon, Denise (Joe) O'Keefe, Nicole Alfano, Kamala (Cliff) Mathews, David Chalfant and Thomas (Jeannine) Chalfant; grandchildren, Jake, Bethany, Natalie, Collin, Chrissy, Ellen, James, Sarah, Conner, Meg, Nicki, Penelope, Lucy and Liam. A friend to everyone, Tom was an avid Ohio State fan, and retired from National Electric Coil after 37 years; he also served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 19, 2015, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Avenue, Columbus. Family and friends are asked to gather for his funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m., on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel (within the grounds of St. Joseph Cemetery), 6440 S. High Street, Lockbourne. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may contribute in memory of Thomas to Kobacker House/Ohio Health Foundation, P.O.
