Obituary

Danny Vilardo, died Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at Kobacker House. Born February 17, 1924 in Columbus, he grew up in Grandview Heights, and lived most of his life in Upper Arlington. He is a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne. He is a longtime member of St. Agatha Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Venera Vilardo; brothers; Philip and Samuel; and nephews Frank and Samuel Jr. Danny is survived by nieces, Mary Jo Vilardo, Susan (John) Tehan and Linda (Geoff) Bevan; nephews Steve Vilardo and Phil (Michele) Vilardo; sisters-in-law, Helen and Charlotte Vilardo, and many additional relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m., on Saturday December 13, 2014 at St. Agatha Catholic Church, 1860 Northam Road (Upper Arlington). Rev. Fr. Daniel L. Ochs, Celebrant. Friends may meet with the family before Mass at 9:30 a.m. in the Vestibule of St Agatha Church. A private burial will take place on Monday.
