Obituary

Mary A. DeGiralomo, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Mary was a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church and a former member of their choir. She volunteered at Riverside Hospital and the Gerlach Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; parents, Joseph and Lena (LeMaster) Pellegrino; brothers, Dominic (Gay) Pellegrino and Nick (Helen) Pellegrino. She is survived by her children, Diana (Earl) Browning, Cheryl (Richard) Griffin and Leonard (Mollie) DeGiralomo; grandchildren, Theresa (John) McElhinny, Matthew (Asuka) Griffin, Zachary Griffin, Abby (Justin) Thompson, Kevin Griffin, Evan (Erin) DeGiralomo and Rachael Griffin; great-grandchildren, Dakota, Benjamin, Rachel and Leah McElhinny, Keean, Forrest and Kayla Griffin, and Annabelle Thompson. The family wishes to thank Mayfair Village, Kobacker House, Dr. Charles Mason and nurse, Mary Derringer. Friends may call on Friday, November 14, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue, Columbus, with a Prayer Service at 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 1420 Grandview Avenue. Entombment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary's name are preferred to Ohio Health Foundation (Kobacker House), 180 E. Broad St., Columbus (43215).
