Obituary

Rose M. Savich of Boardman, Ohio, 84, passed away July 24, 2014 in Columbus surrounded by her loving family. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church, 5750 N. High St., Worthington, Ohio at 11:00 AM on July 29, 2014. Friends and family may call from 10:00 to 11:00 at St. Michael preceding the Mass.Rose was born in 1930 in Canfield, Ohio, daughter of Francesco (Frank) and Immacolata (Maggie) Martin. Rose married Robert Savich in 1953 and had four daughters, one of whom died at age 3. A graduate of Canfield High School, and following work at the John Hancock Company, she managed a medical office for 30 years. She was a loving wife, a great force in her daughters' lives, and enjoyed her grandchildren immensely.Rose was a lifetime member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Boardman, Ohio and a member of the Altar Rosary Society.Rose is survived by loving daughters Susan Savich (MD) of Boardman, Nancy Savich (MA) of Columbus, Sandra Savich (PE) and son-in-law Barry Bryant, (PE) of Upper Arlington; grandchildren Barry Robert Bryant and Alexandra Rose Bryant; siblings; and many extended family members.Rose is preceded in death by husband of 51 years, Robert, daughter Barbara, brother Dominic, other siblings, and parents.Rose will be interred at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
