Obituary

Louis Richard "Rick" Shea, age 55, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at his residence. He was a graduate of Westerville South High School and a self employed mechanic. He is preceded in death by father, Joseph Shea, Sr.; and grandparents, Louis and Mary Franchini. He is survived by his beloved children, Kyle Shea and Kelsey Shea (and grandson, Logan); mother, Mary Franchini Shea; brother, Joe Jr.; sisters, Theresa and Anita; uncles, cousins and many friends. Friends may call Tuesday, July 8, 2014, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, Columbus. Funeral Mass 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Avenue, Columbus, with the Rev. Fr. Clarence Williams, C.Pp.S., as the Presider. I wish you all did not have to go thru such sorrow. My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. Please know I have really great memories of Rick . He was a really nice person and he did leave a footprint on my life. He shall never be forgotten. God bless you all and my he help you find the strength you may need . We are truly sorry for your loss and you have our deepest sympathy. Rick & Lee were very good friends and he was our only real mechanic. He was a great mechanic but a greater family man and friend. Kyle, Kelsey, and Logan meant the world to him. He is greatly missed and will continue to be so.
