Juanita Ruth (Dearth) Clemens, age 85, of Columbus, OH, went home on April 14, 2014, after a long and courageous battle with myasthenia gravis. Ruth was born at her childhood home in Prattsville, Vinton County, Ohio, on October 24,1928, to Harry Forrest and Bernice Marie (Coe) Dearth. Ruth was a 1946 graduate of McArthur High School. She was married to Robert Renner Clemens who preceded her in death. Above all else, Ruth was dedicated to her family. She was there for us at every turn and that will never be forgotten. She loved family gatherings, celebrations and reunions. She especially enjoyed her high school alumni gatherings, sharing memories and stories with her classmates. Ruth also enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, bird watching, and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Ruth is preceded in death by her son, David Lee Clemens; great-grandson, David Robert Owen Boham; brother, Ralph Owen Dearth; sisters, Baby Girl Dearth, Bette Rouge and Barbara Dee; son-in-law, John S. Roumeliote; and brother-in-law Norbert Henslee. Ruth leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ruthann (Andrew) Litsinberger, Robert (Deborah) Clemens and Mark (Tammy) Clemens; grandchildren, Nicole (Peter) Roumeliote, Deirdre Roumeliote, Jonathon Clemens, and Briana Clemens; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, John, Scottie, and Isaac. She is also survived by her siblings, Donald Dearth, Coe (Donna) Dearth, Marilyn Dearth, Dale (Waneta) Dearth, Neil (Joan) Dearth, Ilene Henslee, Ann (Richard) Hurd, Cliff (Helen) Dearth; and sister-in law, Karen Dearth.
