I was saddened to hear of Marian's death. I have many fond memories of Marian from my 15 years as pastor of St. John the Baptist. In my early years there, she and her sister, Mary, were involved in parish actvities and were regular participants at Sunday Mass. The picture in the obituary is as I will always remember her---nicely dressed, pleasant and with a beautiful smile! How fitting that Marian should go to heaven on a Marian feast, September 8, The Nativity of the Blessed Mother, where she continues to smile with the Saints in heaven!

On behalf of the staff at St. George On The Commons we would like to extend our condolences to the family. Ms. Marian was a resident with us for 27 years. I had the pleasure of meeting her in 2012. Ever since then she always had a spot in my heart. Her sense of humor, jazzy ways and that beautiful smile always our day. Ms. Marian will truly be missed by all.

My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I had no idea where your Mom lived or that she
was still alive or I would have visited her!
She was such a great friend to my Mother
and they had a lot of fun together. My Mom has
been gone 12 years.
I have many fond memories if your Mother.
God bless you all!
