Obituary

Emma Christina DiSanto Sagraves, 81, entered into eternal life October 23, 2011 at her home. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who showed unconditional love for her family. Emma is fondly remembered for her unsurpassed cooking skills which included her Italian cookie tables and cookie protocol, and homemade pastas and meatballs. She was born in San Margherita, graduated from Hilliard High school, and was an active member of St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church for 55 years. Emma is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years Glenn Sagraves, her parents Felice and Alessandrina Padula DiSanto, her sister Lida DiSanto, brother Albert DiSanto and brother-in-law, James Coakley. Recently her son-in-law Philip Reynolds and granddaughter Rebecca Warthman(Reynolds) preceded her in death. Emma is survived by her children Glenda Reynolds of Millersport; Anthony (Vicki) Sagraves of Westerville; Sandy (Michael) Wilcox of Columbus; and Carol (Jeff) Douglas of Dublin; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and sisters-in-law, Ruth DiSanto and Ethelene Coakley. She is also survived by her aunt, Zia Bice Padula, 96, of Pescolanciano, Italy, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins in Italy and Ohio and many close friends. Friends may call THURSDAY October 27, 2011 at the JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. 5th Avenue, from 3:00-8:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on FRIDAY October 28 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church 473 S. Roys Avenue, Rev. Fr. Stanley Benecki, Presider and Rev. Msgr. Anthony Borrelli, Concelebrant. FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE ASKED TO GATHER AT THE CHURCH FOR HER FUNERAL MASS. Interment will follow at the St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
