Wilbur C. "Bill" Hallam Jr, age 83, passed away on Thursday July 15, 2010. A graduate of The Ohio State University. Bill retired as a sales manager from COPCO after 35+ years of dedicated service. He proudly served in the US Army during World War II. Bill also spent 45 years as a Red Coat Supervisor at The Ohio State University. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur & Florence and brother-in-law, Robert Garner. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years Suzanne "Sue", children, Elizabeth, Brian (Jen), Stephen (Renata), Jeffrey (Renee), Susan Farmer and Julie (Mark) Frey, grandchildren; Michael (Jessy), Cassandra, Zoe, Mitchell, Carlina, Tyler, Hannah, Alex, Sophia, Micala, Nathan and Natalie and 3 great grandchildren. Bill is also survived by his sister, Eleanor Garner, several nieces and nephews and canine companion Comet and grand dog Cali. Friends may call SUNDAY July 18, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 6077 Sharon Woods Boulevard, from 4:00-7:00 PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30 PM. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 AM on MONDAY July 19, 2010 at church, Rev. Fr. Charles E. Cotton, Presider. Interment will follow at the Resurrection Cemetery, 9571 North High Street, Lewis Center, Ohio.
